Bavaria's biggest festival, dealt straight to your table.

Oompah between hands, a stein-shaped side bet, and a dealer who calls “Prost” on every blackjack. This is the beer-tent energy of Oktoberfest, brought to a real 21 table.

Play the odds, not the feeling.

Basic strategy is the mathematically correct play for every hand, worked out from millions of simulated rounds. It won't guarantee a win, but it lowers the house edge to under 1% on most tables — far better than playing by instinct.

+1Low cards

2 through 6 add one to the count. More of these left in the shoe favors the dealer, so a low count means fewer of them remain.

0Neutral cards

7, 8 and 9 don't move the count. They're common enough not to sway the shoe either way.

− 1High cards

10s, face cards and aces subtract one. More of these left in the shoe favors the player — bigger blackjack payouts, better doubles.

This is the Hi-Lo system, the most widely taught way to track a shoe: keep a running total as cards are dealt, then divide by the decks remaining to get a “true count.” A higher true count means the deck favors the player. Counting is legal — it's just arithmetic — but it only works on a physical shoe that isn't reshuffled every hand. Online RNG and most live-dealer tables shuffle continuously, which is why basic strategy below is the more useful tool for online play.
